MAJOR ACHIEVEMENTS / ACTIVITIES / PROGRESS


1. Research Study and publication of Researcher Report on LNFE Framework in Sindh.

2. Submitted Sindh Literacy and Non-Formal Education Authority Act, after vetting from Law Department. (Summary has been moved by department).

3. Launched an official website for online visibility.

4. Created a logo and slogan for brand recognition.

5. Developed SOPs for NGO enlistment for NFE expansion and got the template vetted from Law Dept.

6. Signed Letter of Understandings (LoU) with 13 NGOs for coordination and cooperation.

7. Developed Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for NFE implementation partner enlistment on NFEMIS.

8. Established and Operated 8 self-help NFE centers in 7 districts.

9. Trained 78 Public and Private sector experts as Master Trainers.

10. Developed and notified teaching learning materials for ALP-E&S Package D.

11. Developed teaching learning materials for 13 marketable trades under Middle Tech curriculum.

12. Developed and notified the Non-Formal Education Assessment System (NFEAS).

13. 06 Months Certificate Course for 16 NFE teachers 6-month AIOU certification program.

14. Facilitated terminal assessment for learners and provided 57,345 equivalency certificates on request of the stakeholders.

15. Assessment of more than 52,664 learners for the promotion to next literacy package and issuance of equivalency certificates (SEF, NGO World and TKF etc).

16. Successful project mid-term review for the continual of JICA-AQAL leading to extension for phase-III.

17. Designed schemes of studies for ALP Primary and obtained SE&LD notification.

18. Developed & notified Teaching Learning Material (TLM) of NFE Package-E (Urdu Version).

19. Developed a Social Mobilization Manual for community awareness.

20. NFE Taskforce Re-Notified and Meetings held - Notified important sub-committees. subcommittees for logo, policy review, assessment, act review, expansion, outreach, integration, and NGO/INGO engagement.

21. Continuous meetings with Secretary and Minister of Education to share progress and seek support.

22. Regularly followed up with relevant departments for project approval related to NGO/private sector engagement.

23. DL&NFE has taken a major initiative of the Establishment of 3000 NFE Centers in 05 Districts of Sindh i.e., Mirpurkhas, Umerkot, Tharparkar, Jacobabad, and Kashmore to enroll 90,000 OOSC in 3 phases. Phase-I has already been started to open 500 NFE centers.

24. A Letter of Understanding (LoU) signed with the Sindh Technical Education and Vocational Training Authority (STEVTA) for the establishment of Skill Development Centers aimed at enhancing both literacy and vocational skills among OOSC in Sindh.

25. Integrated ALP and Adult Literacy Skills (6 Months) , Numeracy, Life skills and Income Generation Skills (Middle Tech, Matric Tech).

26. Developed & notified Curriculum and Teaching Learning Material for 13 Vocational Skills including Graphic Designing, Media Production, Internet of Things and Hotel Management. in collaboration with STEVTA.

27. Development of Teaching Learning Material & curriculum of all ALP Packages A, B, C, D & E (equivalent to Pre-Primary to VIII) Adult Literacy and Vocational Skills designed & notified.
